Bob Dylan (b. 1941) is one of the most influential and celebrated musicians of all time, known for his profound songwriting, distinctive voice, and impact on folk, rock, and popular music. Born Robert Zimmerman in Duluth, Minnesota, Dylan rose to prominence during the 1960s folk revival with protest anthems like "Blowin’ in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin’." He later transitioned to rock, creating groundbreaking albums such as "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Blonde on Blonde," with iconic tracks like "Like a Rolling Stone." Dylan's lyrics, often poetic and socially conscious, redefined the boundaries of popular music. Over his six-decade career, he’s explored genres including folk, blues, country, gospel, and rock. In 2016, he became the first musician to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, solidifying his status as a cultural icon and one of history's greatest songwriters.
